1. Overview & Commitment
At Sheo("we", "our", or "us"), we believe your bookmarks and personal internet references are private. We do not sell your personal information or link collections to third parties or advertisers. Sheo is built with an offline-first architecture, meaning your links are stored locally on your device and only synced to our secure cloud when you authenticate.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our bookmark management and synchronization services:
- Account Information: When you sign up via Email or Google OAuth, we receive your email address, user ID, and optional profile display name/avatar.
- Saved Bookmarks & Collections: The URLs, titles, descriptions, preview image thumbnails, tags, notes, and folder structures you save.
- Shared Folder Data: If you explicitly choose to generate a public share code for a folder, that collection and its included links become accessible to anyone with the share code.
- Diagnostic & Crash Data: We collect anonymous crash reports and performance breadcrumbs via Sentry to debug crashes and optimize app reliability. This data does not contain personal link contents.
3. Data Security & Storage
Your data is stored securely on your local device and synchronized using industry-standard encrypted cloud infrastructure. Access to your private bookmarks, tags, and collections is strictly restricted to your authenticated account.
4. Data Ownership & Account Deletion
You maintain full ownership of your data. You can edit or delete individual links and folders at any time directly in the mobile app.
If you wish to delete your entire account and associated data, you can initiate a deletion request directly within the mobile app settings or via our web portal at sheo.in/delete-account.
Deletion requests include a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel by signing back into your account. After 30 days, your account and all associated records are permanently erased.
